The gig we're playing is my own wedding, only a short 3 song set that I hope will be the first of many this year. Through the course of working on a cover of the NamNamBulu track "Now or Never" I ended up speaking with Henrik Iversen, the man who wrote the song, and he was very supportive of us. He heard what we had and gave what assistance he could to help out, and asked for a copy when it's all done. While this is very flattering we were as humble as we could be, and now we know we totally have to nail that song now.
Besides the NNB track we'll be doing "Bullet" by Covenant and "Kathy's Song (Come Lie Next to Me)" by Apoptygma Berzerk. That is unless we run out of time to program in which case we'll do whatever we have ready, but this gig is for fun and it's been that. So I think I made a good decision pushing Phil into the Studio.
